If you enjoy employees who are rude and openly hostile, then Cinemark is the place for you! On Friday the 22 my brother, boyfriend, and I attempted to go see the four o'clock showing of It. I will take responsibility for at least some of the problem, as I had forgotten my ID (a problem that was easily solved by a quick trip back home), but the rest of the entire horrible interaction was because the man who was working the counter held us in such obvious disdain and was so rude to us that it was jarring. I wish I would have gotten his name, or spoken to a manager, but how are you supposed to respond to someone who lies about the rules and then acts like you are inconveniencing him by making him do his job? I will never return here and I don't advise anybody else does either. They are sending a very clear message to the guests of their theater by hiring and training employees to act like that, telling us that their paying customers aren't deserving of even passable service by Cinemark. That is utterly unacceptable and if 0 stars was an option it would be the most accurate to my experience here.
Although the new seats were an improvement over the stiff chairs, you get a feel of lacking and discomfort when trying to recline out fully. If the chair reclines why do the feet get drooped off of the edge and put the back in an uncomfortable position. I am only 5’10” and these seats were terrible. Not to mention the god awful button location which if you are of bigger weight or shimmy to lay mor on your side u will most likely have all of your efforts to try to get comfy since the buttons are on the inside of the arm rest typically where the legs would lean on. The one thing that also bothered me was the heating button and function which ties back to what i said previously about button placement. It is in the worst place and will get accidentally turned on and the heating element is right on the lower back area and also goes from being off to almost a searing pain which causes great discomfort. Besides the chairs being a total mess, the tech used to project the movie is clearly outdated and is evident through its fuzzy appearance and would have some severe frame lag/ jumping when there is any fast action in the movie. This also includes panning shots where the image being captured is supposed to be clear to be able to observe all of the details.
An excellent theatre, where every seat is reserved in advance, and every seat is an electric recliner. I have seen the future of movie-watching, and it is good. They get 5 stars because of 2 things: One, they added a bar to compete better with Alamo Drafthouses and others like them, and two, Cinemark finally ended their really stupid no refills policy on drinks. When you pay that much for carbonated water and syrup, a refill should have been allowable in the first place. Still, a really nice experience. :)
Awesome place! Clean and excellent matinee costs! As of this date cost was$5.03/person at window. Online they add service charge. Gets pretty busy here so get there a little early to make sure you get your tickets and seats (which are first come first serve). Online tickets matinee are $4.99 plus fee per ticket as of this date.
Excellent matinee priced movies at 5.30. Staff is very nice. I ordered a lot of stuff and the manager loaded it on a cart and rolled it to the theater for me. I also like that even if u have to sit in the front ur not staring up at the screen because of how they have the seats positioned. Popcorn is also very good and buttery.
