I am stunned at how rude and disrespectful she treated me in front of employees and other patients as she escorted me out of her office as if I were a criminal trying to steal from her. If I had no way to pay for the exam and blood work I would understand her position but to judge me and escort me out the way she did was inexcusable when I am able and willing to pay for the services.
Dr. Fan and staff are very attentive and consider. I have issues giving blood and they went over and beyond to help me feel comfortable.
How is it that doctors are allowed to treat people this way?
3. They told me my labs would be posted on the patient portal in about a week. It has been more than 2 weeks now and I am still waiting for my labs... I called yesterday and was told that they would be posted by the following day and that did not happen which is disappointing.
2. Again, I needed a vaccine for school but they said they didn't have it and rescheduled me to come back which is not a big deal. However, on the date that I returned for what was suppose to be a quick in and out, I waited 40 minutes and was then brought to another waiting area and was instructed to wait. As MAs and nurses walked by, I could hear them whispering "oh what does he need?" and everything just felt very disorganized which is not how you want to feel at a doctor's office. Not to mention, getting a vaccine should have been no more than a 10min ordeal turned into a hour+ visit.
Please consider finding another physician. I have reported how badly I was treated to the medical board!!!!!!
Worst experience at a physician's office. Here is why.
When I went for my appointment today, after waiting 45 minutes she came into the office stood almost toe to toe while I was sitting down and very rudely told me she refused to see me based on my coverage. I explained that I understood the coverage and would pay in advance for the appointment and blood work and she again refused.
Anyone who knows me, knows I demand the best. After numerous visits and a sufficient amount of time, I have elected to make this post. Dr. Fan is a fantastic doctor for my wife, well educated, knowledgeable, and very attentive. We recommend her to anyone looking for a good doctor.
1. Needed a couple blood test for medical school and told both the nurse and Dr. Dinh exactly what I needed. After the physical, I was directed to the lab and instead of the phlebotomist verifying what tests I needed which is what I'm used to from my previous experience in physican's offices. She stuck me right away and drew my blood. I asked her if she was ordering "____" and "___" tests and her reaction was "oh...no..." and then went out of the room to check something and came back and told me she needed to re-draw my blood without even apologizing.
Overall my experience at Fairfield Family Physicians is extremely disappointing and I would recommend anyone to look elsewhere for a office that is responsive, organized, and inspires patient confidence.
