Lots of work on my car and thousands of dollars spent, only to have my car in worse shape. It seems untrue, because I was trusting, but parts they replaced broke, and they would not honor their guarantee. Rather, they wanted to know WHO gave me the diagnosis when I stated that I had had the same repair done there. After over $1000.00 spent in air conditioning repair (had it in two times - second time they talked me into a 170.00 tune up for longer lasting reliability), the air conditioning is not fixed. On my third time there for the air conditioning, they were going to charge more to fix it. My coolant light is also on after paying a 2,500 bill for that repair, but do not trust them to touch my car. My husband has since found the leak on a part that looks new. It is not right to treat good customers like they treated me, and I hope whomever reads this review will take my advice and not go to Drivers. I do not want this happening to anybody else.
I wanted let everyone know about my terrible experience with Drivers Auto Repair here in Cypress. I needed someone to replace the water pump on my daughter's car, I would have done it myself but I was very busy. They confirmed the water pump needed to be replaced and gave me a price to replace it. The price was very high for that repair (over $1,000.00), but I didn't have a choice as I was busy at work and my daughter had to have the car. Also they tried to sell me a bunch more items that I did not need, but I was very clear in telling them to ONLY replace the water pump and refill the car with coolant. After they completed the repair my daughter picked up the car and everything seemed OK, except for the fact that they performed a coolant flush (an additional $150.00) on the vehicle when I had clearly told them to ONLY replace the water pump and re-fill the coolant. I returned home a later to find the car leaking oil in my driveway. Drivers Auto Repair had damaged the axel boot while replacing the water pump. I also noticed at that time the water pump pulley they installed only had 3 bolts holding it to the water pump (it requires 4 bolts). I called them and took the car back to their shop and they agreed to replace the axel and put the forth bolt in the pulley that they had left out at no charge. A couple of days later the same wheel they replaced the axle on was about ready to fall off the car and making grinding noises. The wheel bearing was damaged when they replaced the axle. They said it's not their fault, but it clearly is. They even performed a full vehicle inspection when I dropped the vehicle off with them the first time, and there was no mention of a potential failure of the wheel bearing. Car has only has 35K miles and she hadn't driven the car more than 200 miles total since they originally replaced the water pump. It costs $330 for a new wheel bearing. We picked the car up and my daughter says the air conditioning doesn't work. You can judge for yourself, I say they are dishonest and incompetent. Oh and don't forget to check their google/ yelp reviews and not the fake reviews they have on their website. Thanks and have a great day.
they sold me 5 oil change package and am locked w them..when I come for oil change they say it wud take 30 mins but they always put you on hold as they don't earn more money..I wud suggest to avoid this place..
Had a problem with our vehicle battery as we were leaving town on a trip. This place was the only one open. Got the battery replaced, for $300+. They had me in a bind and knew it, then the wanted to replace the alternator. It has been a few years and the alternator is doing fine. Won't use them again.
Broke down near this store on my way to work. Michael helped me out by not only giving me a great price, but they also had my truck repairs completed in less than 3 hours on a Saturday so I could get to work asap. Thanks.
